Return Policy

We aim to make our customers’ experience as smooth as possible throughout the transaction and delivery. However, it is not certain, despite all efforts and diligence, that nothing will go wrong and the customer may wish to return the product. In this case, kindly generate an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request by agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

This page explains our policies in all such scenarios, for both our Business Customers and Consumers. See the terms listed below.

You must notify any discrepancies between the placed order and the goods received within 2 days of order receiving.


  • Our “Business Customers” include customers who are not consumers
  • Whereas, our “Consumer” include individuals who are not acting for the purposes of his or her business or profession

Cancelation Policy

If a consumer or business account intends to cancel an order, we will not charge them anything extra upon receiving an email with the order reference number or PO number before the order dispatching process. Failing to email before the order is dispatched will incur a re-stocking fee of 25%.

In case the item has already been dispatched, we suggest consumers or business account to not open the shipment upon its arrival. Within the next 14 days of the package’s arrival, customers may then arrange for the shipment to be returned. You may ensure your item is adequately re-packaged using the original outer packaging, otherwise a 25% re-stocking fee may be charged.

Within 14 days of the signed goods by customers, we request the goods remain unused in order for us to receive them in a resalable condition, including all accessories, packing etc. In order to avoid liability of lost goods, you must arrange insurance against the goods while they are in transit. Please also note that you will be required to organize and pay for the delivery return.

Our non-returnable and non-cancellable orders include orders that are shipped directly from manufacturers.

Non-Faulty Returns Conditions

In case we agree, at our sole discretion, to accept the return for credit of unwanted products, the Goods must be returned with our prior written agreement within fourteen days of delivery, they must be unopened, with the manufacturers’ seals intact, and in resalable condition. Whereas, all non-faulty returns are liable to a 25% to 50% restocking fee, depending on the circumstance, unless incorrectly supplied by Optimum Drives.

A 25% re-stocking fee will be charged in case customer fails to return incorrectly supplied items in their original condition, including the good’s accessories, manuals, software, and warranties – all should be undamaged. It is requested customers repack the goods in the same way they were delivered.

RMA Procedure

  • Please raise an RMA request by agreeing to the terms and conditions below, required for return of all items to Optimum Drives regardless of the reason for return.
  • Items should be returned in the same condition as they were received. All accessories, manuals, software, and warranties must be in their original packaging and in good condition.
  • Repackage the items securely in the same way they were sent to you once you’ve received your RMA number (ideally inside the original outer box). A restocking fee of 50% may be applied if the original packaging is marked or damaged in any way.
  • Make sure the package has the RMA number clearly visible on the box, otherwise the package will not be accepted.
  • Make sure our complete address is clearly visible on the outside of the package by using a label.
  • We will return the replacement item to you within 10 days of receiving the faulty item once it has been received and tested.
  • Goods Damaged in Transit:

If goods are visibly damaged upon receiving, please be sure to sign the goods as damaged with the courier and contact us immediately at or email or phone. In any such case, we request you report the damaged goods to us within two working days of delivery.

The following reasons, included but not limited to, can invalidate hardware replacement:

  • Against the information provided on the RMA form, the good is not faulty.
  • If the item has been tampered with or is physically damaged.
  • If a wrong software is being used

Optimum Drives reserves the right to charge 25% restocking fee, if there is damage to the original package, or if the package’s component and accessories are missing.
