Return Guidelines

The following guidelines should be followed when returning your package by mail:

Please initiate an RMA at [email protected].

The front of the package must prominently bear the RMA number. Without an RMA, packages cannot be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

Place items that will be returned in a shipping container that is the right size. On the packaging provided by the original manufacturer, do not write or affix shipping labels.

As a packing slip, a duplicate invoice should be sent with the package.

All returns must be shipped within ten days of the RMA date. The return will be automatically canceled after that day.

Optimum Drives does not issue more than one RMA for the same order or item.

Customers of Optimum Drives are charged for any items that are not returned with the return shipment.

An item must be in its original packaging in order to be returned. If not, it won't be accepted.

One of the companies that offer a tracking number must ship your item. (i.e., UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL). Additionally, you are responsible for paying any insurance-related expenses for the package.

Restocking

Any returned items that are not defective will incur a 25% restocking fee. Restocking fees won’t be charged in cases where Optimum Drives delivers the incorrect item. When a customer returns a product with the note “Faulty Product” or “Dead on Arrival,” our engineer will examine the item for flaws. If a problem is found, your money will be refunded or the product will be changed. However, the customer is responsible for paying 25% of the restocking fee if the product is free of defects.
You will be billed 50% of the restocking fee if you return a brand-new item with an open box.
A minimum of 50% restocking fee will be charged upon return if a customer orders the incorrect item or decides they no longer need it.

Disclaimers

If one of the following situations occurs, Optimum Drives reserves the right to impose a 50% restocking fee:

  • The original packaging is compromised or broken.
  • The package's contents are altered or missing.

The replacement could be rejected for the reasons listed below:

  • The item is different from what was described on the RMA form.
  • The item has been physically harmed or tampered with.

Non-Faulty Returns Conditions

If we agree, at our sole discretion, to accept the return for credit of unwanted products, the Goods must be returned within fourteen days with our prior written agreement, they must be unopened, with the manufacturer's seals intact, and in a resalable condition. Non-faulty returns, on the other hand, are subject to a 25% to 50% restocking fee, depending on the circumstances, unless incorrectly supplied by Optimum Drives.

A 25% re-stocking fee will be charged in case the customer fails to return incorrectly supplied items in their original condition, including the good’s accessories, manuals, software, and warranties – all should be undamaged. Customers are asked to repack the goods in the same manner in which they were delivered.
