Shipping Rates
International shipping rates vary. To get an accurate estimate, select ‘International Shipping’ as your delivery option at checkout. The applicable shipping rate will be displayed before your order is processed. You may also set a maximum shipping cost in the order form.
For items over 5 lbs, a custom shipping quote will be emailed to you after the order is placed, as the standard rate estimator may not apply.
Handling and Customs Fees
We do not charge any handling fees for international orders.
Any customs duties or taxes imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
We declare the actual value and contents of the package (e.g., “Hard Drive – Computer Hardware”). If you request a gift declaration, we can only exclude the receipt, but cannot mark the package as a gift.
Payment for International Orders
For repeat customers, our streamlined ordering process ensures quick verification and shipping without delays.
For new international customers, please note that verifying international credit cards can be challenging due to restrictions from card issuers in certain countries. In response to frequent cases of fraudulent transactions, we reserve the right to delay, restrict, or cancel credit card payments for orders billed and shipped internationally.
To ensure smooth processing, we recommend using PayPal for international payments. Simply send your payment to paypal@optimumdrives.com, which offers faster verification globally.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you may use Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. However, please be aware that it may take up to 7 business days for payment verification.
Payment verification may be expedited if you provide an official company email address.
Certain American Express, Visa, and MasterCard accounts can be difficult to verify, depending on the issuer or country of origin. If verification cannot be completed, we may request additional identification documents via email or fax. Alternatively, you may be asked to complete the payment via Wire Transfer (TT).
